In the ICT world, Git is essential. This is why the IEEE Student Branch Campus Bruges & Ghent believes it is important to teach it to ICT students early on. Git is a distributed version control system. It allows easy collaboration on programming projects, which can be useful on the work floor as well as in labs. In two hours, we will teach you the basics of Git and how it can be used with online platforms such as GitHub. After the workshop, you will be able to apply Git to your programming projects. We welcome you at 6:45 p.m. for a sandwich before we start the workshop.   In de ICT-wereld is Git onmisbaar, daarom vindt de IEEE Student Branch KU Leuven Brugge & Gent het belangrijk dat dit vroegtijdig aan ICT-studenten wordt aangeleerd. Git is een gedistribueerd versiebeheersysteem dat het mogelijk maakt om eenvoudig samen te werken aan programmeerprojecten, wat nuttig kan zijn in labo’s én op de werkvloer. In twee uur tijd leren wij je de grondbeginselen van Git aan en maak je kennis met online platformen zoals GitHub. Na de workshop zal je dan ook in staat zijn om Git toe te passen op jouw programmeerprojecten! We verwelkomen je graag om 18u45 voor een broodje alvorens te starten aan het workshop gedeelte.
