Communication Technology: State-of-the-art and Challenges, hosted four different speakers from different fields to talk about the current challenges and evolving communication technologies used in different sectors. This event series spanned for three days spaced out during the week from 21^st August to the 28^th, with different specialists provided informative sessions on their field of expertise.

On the 21^st of August, the first day of the event series, Space Data Analyst Shaima Al Meer, of the NSSA, presented “Correlation between Space, Technology and Innovation’. The second day of the event series, which was on the 24^th, Mr. Abdulla Al Hamed has discussed how the 4^th Industrial Revolution is shaping Communication Technology through “The New Norms of Technology”.

During the final event of the event series, Saturday the 28th of August, both Eng. Tasneem Yousif and CEO Ameen Altajer of INFINITEWARE, presented “Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Revolution” and “Why Decentralization Matters?” respectively. Eng. Tasneem, currently working as a Senior System Administrator at The BENEFIT Company in Bahrain, presented an informative presentation on Global Navigation Satellite System, and touched on what is GNSS, Satellite Based Augmentation System, and much more. Ameen Altajer, CEO INFINITEWARE, then talked about bitcoin, blockchain, centralization, and why decentralization matters.
