What is IEEE?
IEEE is a renowned authority in engineering, technology, and research. As the world’s largest technical professional organization, it is committed to advancing technology to benefit humanity.
The organization includes 39 technical societies, each focusing on a specific scientific or technological area. These societies collectively contribute to 30% of the world’s scientific literature in fields like electrical engineering, computer engineering, and related disciplines such as biomedical engineering, mechatronics, and computer science. With chapters and societies spread across more than 160 countries, IEEE leads academic research and sets industry standards globally.
