Intro to C/C++

June 5 @ 7:00 pm9:00 pm

June 7 @ 7:00 pm9:00 pm

Where:  Okanagan College Learning Center Room E310

This event consists of 2 sessions, 2 hours each.

We will help individuals who understand any existing programming language transition to understand the basics of C and C++.

This event is focused around the Okanagan College curriculum, however it will be generalized enough for anyone looking to get a good feel on C or C++ to also attend.

We will be going over basics like:

  • Inputs/Outputs
  • Data Types (pointers and address variables)
  • how functions work
  • how C/C++ takes arguments
  • compiling on the command line
  • structs

We are not teaching loops, if statements etc as it is expected you have some working knowledge of an existing language.

If you are interested or have questions please email:  r.j.bro@ieee.org
