Join us in collaboratively designing and coding a game in 48 hours. This is a globally competitive Hackathon. What will you be doing? You will be designing and building a real game.

Do you need to be an expert coder? No, people of different experiences will be there designing the game. Have you been wanting to get noticed for your skills? This is an excellent opportunity to network and get discovered. Best of all, you will be building a real computer game!!!


Please join us January 29-31 at Okanagan College, there will be will be so much fun we won’t be able to contain it all.

We will be releasing the agenda shortly.   However event starts at 5pm and we will be located on the third Floor in room 301.


To participate in this event you will need to register on the Global Game Jam website ( and register to the Okanagan College Jam Site.

This event is a non for profit event however to cover the costs of running this event there will be a small entrance fee.   You can purchase your tickets in advance at our EventBrite site found at :

Entrance Fee is either:

$30 per person
$15 per student registered at any college or university


We look forward to meeting as many of those that can make it.  The event promises to provide an experience like no other!


The Okangan College Global Game Jam is being organized by the Okanagan College IEEE student branch. Are you an Okanagan College student? There are perks to being a member of our student branch, please contact one of your IEEE student branch committee members via email bellow, or just talk to one of us in person at the school.
