Join IEEE EMBS at the EMBS lounge! This event is a hybrid of game night and upper-year guidance event where all students are invited to network. IEEE EMBS has a new event this semester! Mastering Research is an opportunity for undergraduate students to get insight into research positions as well as masters and PhD opportunities! We will be talking to undergraduate students about their positions, how they got them, and what their day to day looks like. Additionally, we’ll be talking to a Masters student and a Ph.D. student. They will be giving advice on how to look for research programs, how it differs from the regular undergraduate experience and more! The event will be informative and fun! The IEEE EMBS team is excited to bring you this event in collaboration with BECU and BMSCU! Research Accelerate is an amazing opportunity for undergraduate students to get insight into research and interact with professors! We will be hearing from several biomedical engineering and science professors. Additionally, you will also have the chance to interact with them and ask any questions you may have about their work or research in general. Also, make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in exchange for a raffle ticket for a chance to win a gift card!!
