The University of Toronto proudly reflects on the vibrant activities of its Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) student chapter, run by the dedicated students in the Electromagnetics (EM) group. Over the years, this chapter has continually fostered a sense of community and professional growth through a variety of events—ranging from insightful invited talks by leading researchers, to informational sessions led by senior students, and enjoyable social gatherings.

One memorable event was the foosball tournament held on Friday, September 27th, in the Grad Lounge (BA5157). This tournament provided an excellent opportunity for new students to meet the EM group and for everyone to socialize in a relaxed and fun environment. The atmosphere was lively, with drinks, refreshments, and a shared sense of excitement. Students of all skill levels joined in, whether they were foosball novices or seasoned players.

The tournament was played in teams of two, and friendly competition was encouraged throughout. The event was capped off with prizes for the top competitors, making it a day to remember. The chapter looks forward to many more such engaging and community-building events in the future!
