The IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation took place in 14-19 July in Florence, Italy, and in preparation, the AP-S Student Chapter hosted a conference presentation competition on Wednesday, June 26th, in BA4287. This event offered participants a valuable opportunity to practice their presentations and field questions from a technical audience, helping ease the stress of the actual conference.

Presenters received anonymous feedback from the audience on how to improve aspects of their presentations, such as delivery, content, and slide layout. Those who weren’t attending the conference were still encouraged to present their current research, as it was a great opportunity to practice.

The competition featured an exciting prize for the highest-rated presentation, as well as raffle prizes for attendees. As always, coffee and refreshments were provided, making the event a comfortable and productive setting for all involved.
