With professional working experience for Ernst & Young as a senior tax specialist, Professor Yuan Zhang is working on the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices in China in the context of China’s dual carbon goals (DCGs) of reaching peak carbon emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060 (Xi, 2020), based on her continuous work from the discipline of environmental economics, and cross-disciplinary work in the area of green digital transformation with the team members of the university-level GDT for Green and Digital Transformation and the ESG Data-Driven Decisions Lab at Nanfang College-Guangzhou, formally known as Nanfang College of Sun-Yat Sen University.
