The IEEE EMBS Ecuador student chapters have the privilege to introduce the 3rd IEEE EMBS International Student Conference in Latin America (ISC LA 2020), an event of great importance for the promotion and dissemination of biomedical engineering research in Latin America, which will be held in November 27-28, 2020.

This event aims to bring together IEEE Region 9 student representatives in a collaborative space where topics related to health and biomedicine will be discussed, thus allowing sharing knowledge about new trends in biomedicine in Latin America. Also, it is planned to develop a program including technical talks, forums, workshops, and research exhibitions prepared by the participating students on various topics related to health.

THIS FORUM IS DIRECTED TO :

Research students in the bioengineering field.

The IEEE ISC Ecuador 2020 aims to provide a space for collaboration and innovation for the discussion of topics related to new trends in health area in the region, waiting for the creation of forums and workshops that allow the development of new alliances between students from different countries to promote to increase student membership and retention rate in the region, and strengthening the presence of EMBS in the Andean region, or organizing an R9 student chapter chair meeting.

The IEEE EMBs Ecuador Technical & Student chapters, and the Organizing Committee of the 2020 International Student Conference invite students to submit full papers reporting original and novel research results in the following, but not limited areas:

Bioinformatics in Diagnosis
Biomechanics and Bio-Robotics
Biomedical Signal and Image Processing
Neuroscience and Clinical Engineering
Therapeutic and Diagnostics Systems, Devices and Technologies
Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials

Full papers must be written in English limited to 4 pages, formatted as the standard IEEE double-column conference template and submitted exclusively in PDF on EasyChair at the IEEE ISC page. Conference content will be recognized in the congress memories with ISBN, but will not be indexed to any database.
