ABOUT THE GAME

In this city-building strategy game, you control a group of exiled travelers who decide to start a new life in a new land. They only have clothes on and a cart full of supplies from their homeland. The inhabitants of Exile are your main resource. They are born, grow up, work, have children of their own, and eventually die.

For your city to grow, you need them to be healthy, happy, and fed. It is not enough to build new houses, there must be enough people to move in and start their own families. Banished does not have a skill tree. Any structure can be built at any time, as long as your people have gathered resources for it.
