Who we are …
EMB Student Chapter UTh Lamia, is a scientific volunteering group of students with passion for Technology and Innovation.
It is based on the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics, of University of Thessaly , in Lamia, Central Greece.
Our team was founded in December of 2021 and managed , within a year, to be the biggest EMB Student Society in Greece, with 37 active members.
Now our Student Chapter lists 29 active members!
💡 Projects and Vision
Our vision is to promote the research in the field of Bioengineering and to embrace the combination of engineering and science with biomedical sciences in academia and research.
We organize variety of events such as : scientific talks and webinars, hands-on workshops in modern technologies and congresses.
Other than that, EMB Student Chapter UTh Lamia, consists of 6 scientific research groups which students can conduct research and implement their own ideas.

EMB Society is the biggest non-profit Biomedical Engineering Society worldwide.
