IEEE TCD student branch welcome evening invitation

Room 2.05, Áras an Phiarsaigh AAP, Electrical & Electronics Department, Trinity College Dublin Dublin

We are thrilled to announce the return of the IEEE TCD Student branch, and we have an exciting lineup of events planned for this year! Kicking things off will be a Mid-Autumn postgraduate welcome evening where you can find out more about the student branch followed by a social reception. We encourage all MSc, PhD researchers and staff to attend. The IEEE is the largest technical professional organisation in the world and members include engineers along with allied technological professions such as physics, computer, biomedical and natural sciences. This event is a great opportunity for new MSc students to connect with your colleagues, PhD students and staff in our department. We encourage you to briefly introduce yourself and share some of your cultural traditions. For example, Chinese students might talk about the Mid-Autumn festival and stories behind mooncakes. It's a chance to celebrate the rich diversity of our community and learn from each other. Feel free to contact Xiaoru([email protected]) and Hanning([email protected]) if you wish to use slides or alternative ways to present yourself. Details of the event are below: Date: Tuesday, 17th September 2024 Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Location: Áras an Phiarsaigh AAP Room 2.05.
