EMBS biosensor workshop series

The TCD IEEE Engineering Medicine and Biology Student Chapter is excited to announce a weekly hands-on workshop series focused on various biosensing and bioinstrumentation techniques. This series will cover topics such as EEG, EMG, MRI and AI in healthcare and medicine. All participants will have the chance to demo state of the art hardware devices including OpenBCI brain computer interface platforms. Don't miss this unique opportunity to explore the future of bioelectronics! The workshops will be held on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM. See the poster for dates and details of each workshop. EMBS Welcome Evening 2024

The TCD IEEE EMBS (Engineering Medicine and Biology Society) chapter is excited to announce our Opening Session where you can find out more about the weekly EMBS activities planned this year, followed by a pizza social reception. IEEE TCD student branch welcome evening invitation

We are thrilled to announce the return of the IEEE TCD Student branch, and we have an exciting lineup of events planned for this year! Kicking things off will be a Mid-Autumn postgraduate welcome evening where you can find out more about the student branch followed by a social reception. We encourage all MSc, PhD researchers and staff to attend. The IEEE is the largest technical professional organisation in the world and members include engineers along with allied technological professions such as physics, computer, biomedical and natural sciences. This event is a great opportunity for new MSc students to connect with your colleagues, PhD students and staff in our department. We encourage you to briefly introduce yourself and share some of your cultural traditions. For example, Chinese students might talk about the Mid-Autumn festival and stories behind mooncakes. It's a chance to celebrate the rich diversity of our community and learn from each other.
