1. Overview of the Event:

The IEEE Tech-Quiz Competition was designed to provide B.Tech second and third-year students with a platform to showcase their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in a competitive environment. Organized under the Mini Fest event by the IEEE Students’ Branch, this event served as an excellent opportunity for students to stay updated on emerging trends in technology, sharpen their analytical skills, and prepare for technical interviews.

The official circular for the IEEE Tech-Quiz Competition was released on September 30, 2024, outlining the key details about the event, including the eligibility criteria, syllabus, registration process, and benefits of participation.

• Eligibility: Open to all B.Tech Second and Third-year students.
• Syllabus:
1. Basics of C Programming (Data Types, Operators, Control Flow)
2. Numerical Reasoning (Data Interpretation, Problem-Solving with Numbers)
3. Current Technologies and Innovations (Emerging trends in IT, AI, etc.)
4. English (Technical Writing, Communication Skills)
5. Additional Topics: Object-Oriented Programming Concepts and Database
Fundamentals.
• Test Format: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs), 50 questionsin MCQ, covering the syllabus
topics and 1 DSA question conducted on Hacker Rank.
• Venue and Date: Announced as October 15, 2024, in the college computer(CNC) lab.
• Duration: 30 minutes(For MCQ) + 30 minutes(For Hacker Rank Contest)
