Our Student Branch
The IEEE student branch of AISAT was formed during the period 2017-2018. We became fully functional on January 2021 with our new Execom and our Vice Principal, Mr. Paul Ansel as our advisor.
We are a direct handshake to IEEE, an international body that allows countless young researchers the opportunity to present & publish their innovations every year.
Our student Branch activities offer various educational, technical and professional opportunities through various events, talks, and workshop to enhance the skills of our students.
Our main aim is to equip students to meet the demands and technological needs of a rapidly changing society and that our activities will generate a genuine interest among students in their studies.

Student Branch WIE
Women are often underrepresented in the academic and professional fields of engineering, however many females have contributed to the diverse fields of engineering historically and currently. A number of organizations and programs have been created to understand and overcome this tradition of gender disparity. IEEE Women In Engineering(WIE) is one of the largest international professional organizations and dedicated to promote women engineers and scientists by creating different and interesting experiences where they can explore technology in an interactive and insightful way such as workshops in robotics, mechanics and coding.
They also come up with the possibility to give them practical knowledge and understanding of the impact they can have being part of innovative projects. IEEE WIE SB AISAT has been putting tremendous effort thereby to achieve the objectives of women empowerment. A number of events were conducted by WIE and all the programs supervised by the members of WIE were of great success. They are extremely hardworking and have invested a good amount of time in groundbreaking analysis that changes the lives of women by narrowing the gender gap. WIE SB of AISAT look forward to direct many event that will have an impact on the current situation where men are dominated in the engineering field
