5G IOT Workshop


3-days Workshop on “5G Internet of Things (5G IoT)“, jointly with GISFI (Global ICT Standardization Forum for India) 21-23 July, 2016 @ Amrita School of Engineering, Kasavanahalli, Bangalore -560035 was successfully concluded.There were over 200 participants from different parts of India and delegates from abroad.

The president IETE, New Delhi Ms. Smirti Dagur was the Chief Guest while Ms. Tulika Pandey, the director DeitY (Broadband and convergence) group was the Guest of honor.

Professor Ramjee Prasad give a visionary talk on wireless technology of 2050 and  beyond, which is also called (according to him) as New Wireless Era (NWE). He was kind enough to gift 5G book written by him to all the speakers and panelists in the workshop.
