Humanitarian Technology Project Workshop and Competition in Conjunction with R10 Humanitarian Technology Conference 2019
This activity is intended to encourage, to guide and to gather young people with academician, research, or professional background to be active on engineering and technological innovation for humanitarian purposes. During the workshop, encouragement is delivered to give insight, awareness of urgency and power of Engineering and Technology to solve some humanitarian problems especially on health care and better quality of life. The workshop session is enriched by inviting some people who have been working and have a success story on humanitarian technology projects. The sharing will not only give inspiration but also guidance to plan, to prepare, to get some funding and to execute the project.
The objectives of this activity can be summarized as:
- To network people who have the same passion for developing technology for humanitarian activities
- To leverage the impact of the humanitarian technology project to the wider society through networking.
- To inspire, and to acknowledge people to be actively involved in humanitarian issue problem solving using technology.

Project Competition (Call for Proposal)
Some project proposals related to humanitarian Technology are invited to submit into HT Project Competition which will be organized in conjunction with HTC 2019. Some potential proposal (finalists) will be invited to present and join the HT Project review and workshop for free.

There will be 10 finalists for the two categories. Three winners will be awarded for each category.
