CLASSROOM TO CUBICLE: AN ENGINEER’S ROADMAP FOR A REWARDING CAREER

On October 18, 2023, the IEEE DU Student Branch (IEEE DU SB) hosted a seminar titled “Classroom to Cubicle: An Engineer’s Roadmap for a Rewarding Career” and had the privilege of inviting Mr. Rutvik, a distinguished engineer at Veritas Technologies, as the guest speaker. Mr. Rutvik commenced the event by underscoring the significance of C programming and competitive programming in the engineering realm, emphasizing their foundational role and skill development potential. He continued to stress the paramount importance of programming skills in various engineering domains. Moreover, he offered invaluable guidance on creating a compelling resume, using his own as an example, and shared insights into enhancing one’s LinkedIn profile to build a strong professional brand. He also introduced Veritas Technologies and highlighted its mission and the opportunities it offers to engineers.
