Explore the Power of Power BI – Workshop by IEEE Dibrugarh University Student Branch

The IEEE Dibrugarh University Student Branch successfully organized an offline interactive session titled “POWER BI: Transforming Data into Insights” on 29th March 2025 at the Department of CSE, DUIET. The event featured Dr. Nomi Baruah, Associate Professor at Dibrugarh University, alongside speakers Rituraj Phukan, Tulika Chutia, and Mandira Neog. With over 80 participants from various departments, the session provided a comprehensive overview of Power BI, covering data analysis, report creation, dashboards, and data visualization techniques. Attendees gained hands-on experience in shaping and modeling data, using calculated columns, and building interactive dashboards. The event concluded with a Q&A session and a vote of thanks, leaving participants with valuable skills in data analytics and visualization and strengthening their foundation in Power BI.
