IEEE Education Week is a weeklong celebration of educational opportunities provided by IEEE and its many organizational units, societies, and councils from around the world. The  IEEE Dibrugarh University Student Branch Chapter participated in this event by organizing a digital awareness session for students of the Dibrugarh University Model School. The event took place on 5th April and lasted for three hours, with a total of 70+ participants, including 12 members of the IEEE Dibrugarh University Student Branch and 60 students from the 7th and 8th standards of Model School. The event aimed to promote digital awareness among the students, which is of utmost importance at the current time. The event began with an introduction to the volunteers, who then proceeded to give a detailed presentation to the students about digital awareness. The students were taught about how to be aware digitally, understand their digital footprint, prevent themselves from online scams, set strong passwords, properly use social media, and how deal with digital threats.
