IEEE Student Branch organized an engaging and enlightening event to introduce IEEE organization ,its benefits, functioning and the reason for joining the same.
The event began with a comprehensive introduction to IEEE, outlining its global presence, diverse membership and the various technical fields it encompasses. PowerPoint presentation was presented to explain it better. Various social media handles and websites were made introduced to the students.
The positions were also discussed with the students that would allow them to actively contribute to the IEEE community,shaping their identity as a future Engineers and Technologists. The Sesssion was coordinated by the following members of IEEE Students Branch:

IEEE RECRUITMENT SESSION

The interview session was conducted on 14th October 2023, Saturday. The purpose for the conduction of the session was to recruit volunteers from 2nd year graduation course to learn the management and handling of the responsibilities as an IEEE member.
The recruitment session was based on the Google form response circulated earlier and the interview round.

ONLINE SESSION CONDUCTED BY THE ‘IEEE STUDENTS BRANCH’, G.B.PANT INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, GHURDAURI, PAURI GARHWAL
The session was held on 30th September, 2023, Saturday. The session was organised on an online mode through Google meet, the session was organised by the ‘IEEE Students Branch’, G.B. Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology ‘AN INTRODUCTOION TO IEEE’. The session was conducted with the aim to target the students currently enrolled in 2nd year to encourage their spirit and willingness to volunteer in the upcoming events. It was an interactive session, where the participants shared their views, as well as their queries were resolved in the end of the session. The information regarding IEEE, it’s mission and vision, benefits and other necessary information was shared to the attendees. The students showed maximum participation and interest by being an active participant in the session. Looking forward for more enlightening sessions….
Food Festival – “Rasyaan”
Genesis society of Biotechnology, GBPIET, Pauri Garhwal organized a Food Fest in coordination with “WOMEN EMPOWERMENT AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, PAURI” on 23rd September 2022. The Food fest is all about creating awareness and sharing our traditional food varieties and their nutritional values along with cultural ethics amongst the students of GBPIET. Tree Plantation Drive
The webinar took place on August 24, 2022. It was conducted online using Google Meet. The society known as "GENESIS SOCIETY OF BIOTECHNOLOGY" organized this webinar under the campaign “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, which is an initiative of Government of India. The Speaker of the webinar was Mr. Subrat Sahu, Examiner of Patent and Designs, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. On that day, we studied a variety of topics, including Intellectual property, Types of Intellectual properties in a single product, About Patent, Subject matter of trademarks, About Copyright, and Geographic indications (GI). Then he also discussed, what is Patentable and not Patentable and Novelty. He also let us know who can file a patent and the way to fill out an online form. A total of 90 participants joined the webinar including 10 faculty members.
Tree Plantation Drive
Trees represent life, growth, peace and nature. They produce oxygen, clean soil, prevent drought, control flood related disasters, prevent soil erosion, improve physiological, mental and spiritual health, and also reduce carbon footprints. Keeping this in mind the Tree plantation drive was initiated by the “Genesis society of biotechnology” on 5th June 2022. The following activities have been undertaken so far to promote this campaign: • All students were informed about the “Tree plantation drive” through WhatsApp messages to motivate them to plant saplings of trees. • A “Tree Plantation Drive” was organized on 5th June 2022 under by Dr. Mamta Baunthiyal (Head of department, Biotechnology), Dr. Suresh Chandra Phulara (Assistant Professor), Mr. Amit Khandelwal (Assistant Professor), Mr. Pranshu Dangwal (Assistant Professor), Dr. Vibha Shukla supported the tree sapling plantation drive and motivated the students to take care of the saplings so that they grow into healthy trees. • Free saplings were requested from the Uttarakhand Forest Department, Pauri (Pauri Garhwal). Saplings were planted in the open ground near the Biotech department and Near admin office within the premises of the college. • The students were motivated and advised to take care of the saplings planted by them. We hope that such activities shall sensitize and encourage the students to “Love the trees until their leaves fall Off, then encourage them to try again next year”.
TechFest
a)-Meditation Session
During this meditation session, Baba Shri Gagai Nath Ji conducted an automatic yoga for the growth of the spirit, health, and mind. He taught us the value of meditation in our lives. In the overall interactive session, Baba Shri Gagai Nath Ji emphasized on six major points for a successful and purposeful life: 1. Yoga improves strength, balance and flexibility. 2. Yoga benefits heart health. 3. Yoga benefits heart health. 4. Yoga relaxes you, to help you sleep better. 5. Yoga helps you manage stress. 6. Yoga promotes better self-care. During this session, 120 people attended, including 5 academics.
b)-Quiz Competition
On the 28th of May, a quiz competition based on previously organized webinars was held. We received 85 entries for this quiz competition, and based on their scores, we chose the top three competitors and presented them with prizes and certificates. c)-Poster Presentation
On this day, we held the poster presentation, for which we received 12 submissions. The theme of the poster presentation was "Laboratory Safety and Security." d)-Tech Advocate
Tech advocate (debate competition) was held on the theme "Is technology a friend or foe?" Webinar on “GC & its application in Food Research”
The webinar took place on May 26, 2022. It was conducted online using MS Team. The society known as "GENESIS SOCIETY OF BIOTECHNOLOGY" organised this webinar. The Speaker of the webinar was Dr. Batul Diwan. On that day, we studied a variety of topics, including Lignin Valorization, Lignin and its structure, Lignin applications, Lignin as a source of renewable energy, Lignin degradation, Catalytic Lignin Valorization, Liquefaction, Bio-Depolymerization, and Future Prospects. Total 125 participants joined the webinar including 10 faculty members.

The Webinar was held on 25th May,2022. It was held in an online mode via MS Team. This webinar was organized by the society named, ‘GENESIS SOCIETY OF BIOTECHNOLOGY’. The Speaker of the webinar was Dr. Piyush Parkhey. He is an Assistant Professor in the school of Biotechnology, Amity University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. On that day, we studied a variety of topics, including Lignin Valorization, Lignin and its structure, Lignin applications, Lignin as a source of renewable energy, Lignin degradation, Catalytic Lignin Valorization, Liquefaction, Bio-Depolymerization, and Future Prospects. Total 116 participants joined the webinar including 10 faculty members.
Webinar on “Laboratory Biosafety & Security”
The Webinar was held on 24th July,2022. It was held in an online mode via MS Team. This webinar was organized by the club named, ‘SAJAG’. The Speaker of the webinar was Dr. Shraddha Chauhan. She is working as a post-doctoral fellow in the chromatin biology laboratory, Department of Biological Science, IISER Bhopal. That day we learnt about various topics such as Microbiological risk assessment, biological safety labs, laboratory biosecurity, implementation of biosecurity management, good microbiological techniques, transport of infectious material, risk in genetic engineering. Total 130 participants joined the webinar including 10 faculty members.

Webinar on “Made in India COVID vaccines: India’s contribution to world”
The webinar was held on February 28, 2022, in honour of Science Day. It was conducted online using MS Team. The club known as "SAJAG" organised this webinar. Dr. Ashwini Kumar was the webinar's speaker. He teaches biotechnology and bioinformatics as an assistant professor at the NIIT University in Neemrana (Alwar), Rajasthan. The primary goal of the webinar was to inform students on the role that India is playing in the epidemic through creating vaccines. The webinar had 200 attendees overall, including 10 academic members.

Session 13: “Indian army: where growth is a way of life” By Captain Bhanu Pratap Singh Bisht

Captain Bhanu Pratap Singh Bisht is currently serving as a captain in the coveted Indian army. He has been working in Indian army since past 5 years, with more than 2 years of service in ladakh and the world’s highest battleground Siachen. He is an alumnus of The Department of biotechnology, GBPIET. After his B. Tech in biotechnology, he cracked graduate aptitude test for engineers and enrolled for M. Tech in Bioinformatics, from Delhi Technological University. We had a great talk with him. He shared the glorious history of Indian army with us, gave us a brief idea about the ethos of Indian army and ways to gain a permanent service commission or short service commission in Indian army. He also enlightened us with inside talks about Service Selection board and training in academies.

Session 12: “Launch yourself into ISRO” by Mr. Deepak Chandra Paliwal

In session-12, held on 23/10/2020 we had Mr. Deepak Chandra Paliwal with us, session started with his brief introduction- Mr. Paliwal worked as Scientist/Engineer in Power Systems Group at UR Rao Satellite Centre, Bengaluru (formerly known as ISRO Satellite Centre) form June 2017 to January 2020. Currently he is working as Scientist/Engineer in VLSI Test Division at Semiconductor Laboratory, Chandigarh. He has a remarkable academic record; in his achievements he secured AIR 685 in GATE 2016, AIR 1916 in GATE 2015, AIR 3199 in GATE 2014. He has been awarded by Chief Minister of Uttarakhand twice, Awarded by Uttarakhand Association of North America as a district topper in class 10th, he also secured 8th rank in Uttarakhand State in “Ekkikrit Scholarship Exam”. He represented Uttarakhand at National level in National Children Science Congress 2007, and was also awarded as a “State Children Scientist” in 2007,The topic of the session was “Launch Yourself into ISRO”, where Mr. Paliwal explained about ISRO, about their projects and how one can apply for ISRO and its interview. Mr. Paliwal shared his success story or can say his struggle behind his success, which highly motivated our participants. His hard work really motivated our participants never to give up in life. He also proved that language can never be a barrier to one’s success. He very thoroughly gave answers to the participants in question answer session. The session went very well as it was full of life experiences of the expert which really helped our participants.

Session 11: “Resume formatting and designing & Tips for HR interview” By Ms. Sonia Patwal

Introducing the session of 22 October 2020 we had with us Ms Sonia Patwal. Starting with her brief bio data, Ms Sonia works as an HR at Accenture Solution Pvt. Ltd. She holds an MBA degree in HR/Marketing & more than 6 years of HR experience. In addition to this, she has also worked with industries like ITES, Mechanical designing, Digital marketing and NGO. Her specialties are Corporate recruitment, Campus hiring, Diversity and inclusion, Team building, Negotiation, HR Business partner & HR Analytics.We had a magnificent talk with her. The session was based on the topic “Resume Formatting and designing & Tips for HR interview”. She shared her in depth knowledge & gave some amazing ways to design our resume & some tips to answer the typical questions in HR interview and we were able to see a broader picture of what are the essential things we really need to do and how does the procedure goes while you are applying for a job & the types of questions we are going to face during an interview. We are highly motivated and enlightened through her words during this session. She thoroughly answered each and every question from our side which is highly appreciable; also we are really glad that they made time for this interactive and great session.

Session 10: “Role of communication skills for enhancement of career” By Mr. Vinay Devrani

In Session-10, held on 22/10/2020 we had with us Mr. Vinay Devrani as our expert, session started with his brief introduction- Mr. Vinay Devrani is a research scholar and an assistant professor and have 8 years of hands on experience in the field of academics. He has acquired Post Graduation diploma in Human Resource Management from Symbiosis, Pune & M.A in English Literature throughout 1st division, from Sri Dev Suman University Uttarakhand. He is an active member of content writing group as well. Apart from this, he has been enthusiastic to conduct interesting academic activities in the induction program. Mr. Vinay Devrani has 4 International Research Papers in high indexed journals, including Scopus and IOP science to his credit. His forte has been Professional Communication, Training & Development, Research and English Literature with an approach of all round development of the students. In addition to this, he has also facilitated the students to clear the IELTS-exam. The topic of the session was “Role of Communication skills for the Enhancement of the Career”, in the session Mr. Devrani focused on Effective Communication, what is the need of effective communication. He also explained about the communication process.
He also conducted various activities regarding communication and English grammar in between the session in which participants actively participated, this made the session more refreshing. Before ending the session, we had a question answer session where Mr. Devrani thoroughly answered all the questions asked by the participants. Overall the session was very informative and helpful.

Session 9: “Opportunities for students with special reference to Gov. of India schemes.” By Dr. Ajeet Singh

The session 09 was started with the brief introduction of the expert of the session Dr. Ajeet Singh Sir. He is a PHD holder from IIT Roorkee. He has worked as Assistant Professor in G.B.P.I.E.T Pauri Uttarakhand in the Department of Biotechnology. Presently he is working as Regional Officer and Assistant Director, AICTE Mumbai. He has also published his work in 40 international publications till now. 4 PHD scholars have worked under his guidance. He has been visited United Kingdom London in a delegation of Gov. of India in a leadership program and also to Bangkok Thailand , as a representative of Gov. of INDIA in 3rd international meeting on administration in teaching. He is also a member of governing bodies of various technical institutions. In the session he had described about various Government of India schemes and scholarships. He made us familiar about some scholarship schemes such as Pragati and Saksham, Schemes for SC/ST like Prerna and Samriddhi. He had also made us aware about the support provided by the government of India to students for participation in competitions in abroad. He described about the ways to get internship in Canada about MITACS program and process of making application. He had also told us about some Government of India initiatives for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. He has also described about Government of India Schemes Department wise, about Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG), Ministry of Finance Schemes, Sustainable Finance Schemes (MoF). He has also make us familiar about Stand-Up India for Financing SC/ST and / or Women entrepreneurs, schemes for upliftment of MSMEs, Aspire scheme, NSIC infrastructure schemes and also about NITI AYOG schemes, Women Entrepreneurship Platform.

Session 8: “Paving the way towards corporate” By Ms. Garima Rana

In session 8 , held on 21/10/2020 we had Ms. Garima Rana with us as our expert, starting with her brief introduction Ms. Garima Rana is currently working as a team lead in a leading multinational organization BMTG Advisors Private Limited. She has 2 years of experience in finance operations at BMTG and worked as trainer and also trained new employees. She holds an M. Tech degree in Biotechnology. She passed out her M. Tech degree in 2018 and did her internship with Helix Noida, prior joining the organization.
Ms. Garima Rana gave lecture on “Paving the way towards corporate”, in this she explained how one should select career, what challenges students face after their graduation, what options one should opt for. She also focused that one should know yourself and how to make good decision.
She very nicely explained about the corporate work culture by sharing her own experiences in between. She also focused on market demands, what skills a student should have to be a good employee.
Before ending the session we had a question answer session where participants asked many questions regarding their career options, Ms. Garima Rana satisfied each and every participant by giving appropriate answers.
Session was very helpful as it covered mostly topics which is helpful for a student to choose his career wisely.

Session 6: “India to USA: Dreams to Reality” By Ms. Monica Jain

Introducing the session of 21 October 2020 at 9-10:30 AM we had with us Ms Monica Jain and Mr Abhijit kurve starting with their brief biodata, Ms Monica works as a Business analyst at Amazon web services, based out of Chicago. She has 3+ years of experience in data analytics and business insights, with leading firms including A.T. Kearney in Chicago and Novartis healthcare in Hyderabad.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and Master’s in Biological sciences from BITS pilani followed by Masters in Business analytics from University of Minnesota,USA.
Now, Mr Abhijitkurve is currently working as a Lead fraud Detection analyst in a global credit card company. He completed his Bachelors in Mechanical engineering from BITS, pilani and his Masters in Business analytics from University of Minnesota.
We had a magnificent talk with both of them. The session was based on the topic “India to USA: turning Dreams into Reality”. They shared their in depth knowledge on various aspects of planning to study abroad and we were able to see a broader picture of what are the essential things we really need to do and how does the procedure goes while you are applying to international universities.
We are highly motivated and enlightened through their words during this session. They thoroughly answered each and every question from our side which is highly appreciable; also we are really glad that they made time for this interactive and great session.

Session 5: “Life beyond engineering” By Mr. Naveen Bijalwan

He is the resident of Dehradun and has done his schooling in Nanital. He is alumni of Department of biotechnology (Batch: 2010-14) GBPIET. The same of graduating he scored AIR 190 in GATE Biotechnology and has done his MTech from IIT Guwahati (Batch: 2014-16). In 2018 he scored AIR 01 in Supreme Court recruitment exam and is working as junior court officer since then.
Mr. Naveen Bijalwan sir’s story is itself inspiring, how he cracked different exams himself with his hard work and determination. During the session sir told us about Indian constitution and Indian judiciary.
He also told us how he was able to achieve the position he is in. He even told us about various opportunities after graduation. As the topic suggested “The Life beyond Engineering”

Session 4: “Opportunities in entrepreneurship, technology management and IPR space” By Mr. Anand Pandey

In Session-4, held on 20/10/2020, we had Mr. Anand Pandey with us, starting with his brief bio data Mr. Anand Pandey is a technology commercialization, entrepreneurship promotion, industry partnership and intellectual property management. He currently manages the activities of entrepreneurship promotion & technology commercialization at IIT Gandhinagar. He is also involved in Industry partnership and establishment of the Research Park at IIT Gandhinagar. Prior to joining IIT Gandhinagar in 2014, he was working as the scientist B at the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India where he has involved in various initiatives of the department of Science and Technology for promoting techno-entrepreneurship and innovation clusters.
Mr. Anand Pandey gave lecture on “Opportunities in Entrepreneurship, Technology Management & IPR Space”, he thoroughly explained about innovation, why to innovate, technology innovation framework and tools for innovation. He also gave enough knowledge about Intellectual Property Rights, its trends globally and in India. He also briefed about opportunities for startups and Entrepreneurship. Before ending the session we had a question answer session where our expert thoroughly satisfied participants query. Session was very informative and helped participants a lot.

Session 3: “Exploring and Excelling in your career choices” By Ms. Anjali Doneria

Ms Anjali Doneria is currently a software Engineer at Google Chrome Browser Team, Google, Bellevue, Washington, USA. She holds 3+ years of industrial experience in the software engineering field. She graduated from BITS Pilani in 2014 with M.tech in Information systems. She started out as a software developer in Hyderabad and then worked for a start up in Noida until 2017 after that she went for her masters in North Carolina state university,USA from computer science with a specialization in Data science. So, that was all about her biodata, now it was our pleasure to attend her highly knowledgeable session on 21 October 2020 through MS team. She gave us vital information regarding almost everything a student might need to plan while thinking to study abroad starting from small steps to big one.It was a great and really helpful session for all of us, as we got the chance to clarify a lot of doubts.Our college and concerned faculties are really doing a marvellous job bringing and holding such sessions for the students to know how to cope up with the outside world scenarios and situations as these people have valuable industrial work experience / career options to share with us.

Session 2: “From Engineering to MBA & Beyond- a Primer on CAT & GD-PI Preparation & Lift post MBA”

Mr. Prateek was a management consultant at A.T. Kearney, Delhi. Now he has joined Un-Academy. He did his MBA from IIM Bangalore and graduation from BITS- Pilani. The industries that he has primarily served include FMCG, Retail, Automotive and Manufacturing. He enjoys contributing to social causes .He told us about how to be prepared for an interview, how to prepare our resumes and how to be confident enough for every situation.

Session 1: “Current scenario and career opportunities: Beginning of self-reliance” By Dr. Ashok Kumar Rathoure

Dr. Ashok K. Rathoure (PhD. M. Tech.) is working as Independent Researcher in the field of Environment protection, working as Editor-in-Chief at Octa Journal of Environmental Research, Managing Editor at Octa Journals, Executive Editor at Scientific India and Member Secretary of Scientific Planet Society, Dehradun. In addition to this, he worded as Managing Director at Biohm Consultare Pvt. Ltd. Surat (Gujarat) India. His area of research is environmental biotechnology and publication includes 100 full length research papers in international and national journals of repute and published more than 45 books from reputed publishers in India and abroad. He had reviewed more than 100 research manuscript for many international journals. He is member of APCBEES (Hong Kong), IACSIT (Singapore), EFB (Spain), Society for Conservation Biology (Washington) and founder member of Scientific Planet Society (Dehradun). He gave us an idea about self-analysing our actual potential in conditions of stress and competition, through several simple exercises. We had a great talk with him. He told us about several ways to develop an entrepreneur potential and the entrepreneurial process.

4.7 One Week International Online Workshop / Interactive Session on “Campus to Career- Webinar Series for Graduates” (19th to 23rd October 2020) Jointly Organized by Department of BIOTECHNOLOGY & ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

Department of Electrical Engineering & Department of Bio-Technology had organized a one week interactive session for students of GBPIET. Theme of Webinar series was “Campus to Career- Webinar Series for Graduates” held on 19th -23rd October 2020. In this series following events were held:
TEQIP-III Sponsored Two-Week Online Industrial Internship on “Current Practices in Pharmabiotech” (17th to 28th August 2020)

A two-week industrial training program for the students of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses, Department of Biotechnology, GB Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology through the Microsoft teams has started. This training is being conducted under the efficient direction of Dr. Sandeep Shiromani Manager, Novartis India Limited, Haryana and Mr. Amar Dhule Divi’s Lab Hyderabad. This advanced training will continue till August 28. Fifty students of the Department of Biotechnology are participating in this training. The program was inaugurated by the Director of the Institute Prof. (Dr.) MPS Chauhan. This training program is being sponsored by World Bank funded Technical Education Quality Improvement Program - III. Director Prof. (Dr.) MPS Chauhan has assured to provide other training in future for the skill development of the students by pointing to the present and future in the field of biotechnology and seeing the immense potential of this field.

Dr. Sandeep Shiromani and Mr. Amar Dhule, who are currently working in Japan, gave detailed information to the students participating in this training about the specifics of the medicinal production industries. The students were made aware of the subtle processes of producing best quality of medicines. The program is conducted by Mr. Rahul Arya and Mr. Pranshu Dangwal Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology.

Kalakriti international online art competition

Genesis Society of Biotechnology organized ‘Kalakriti international online art competition, from 3 July to 15 August, 2020. This competition provided people, an excellent platform to show their artistic skills, safely from their home during this pandemic. The event was divided into three rounds, each having different themes and time duration of submission. The winning entries from each round were selected on the basis of voting and judging. Dr. Mamta Baunthiyal (H.O.D. Biotechnology, G.B.P.I.E.T Ghurdauri), Dr. Madhu Bahuguna (Assistant Professor, Department of Drawing and painting, R.C.U P.G college, Uttarkashi), Mr. Mukul Badoni (Artist, Uttarkashi), Miss. Smrutee Mishra (Artist, Odisha) were honorable judges. The event was organized under the guidance of, Mr. Pranshu Dangwal (GSBT coordinator, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, G.B.P.I.E.T Ghurdauri). Anish Singh Negi (B. Tech Biotechnology, I Year) and Ayush Lakhera (B. Tech Biotechnology, I year) worked as Social media managers, content designers and event organizers.

FIRST ROUND (3 July – 14 July, 2020)

Submission period, of entries for first round was from 3 July to 9 July, 2020. Team Genesis received 64 entries, not only from India but, from other parts of the world as well. These entries were divided into 2 categories, juniors (up to 11 years of age) and seniors (above 11 years of age). This round was open for artwork of any theme. Voting period for this round was from 10 July to 13 July, 2020, on Genesis society’s Facebook and Instagram page. The scoring criteria for qualifying to next round was based upon, 40% points through voting and 60% points through judges. The result of first round was declared on 14 July, 2020. 25 participants, from senior category and 9 participants form the junior category qualified for the second round.

SECOND ROUND (15 July – 27 July, 2020)

Submission period, of entries for round two was from 15 July to 23 July, 2020. Theme for this round was, Tribute to corona warriors (for senior category) and corona virus awareness (for junior category). Voting period of this round was from 25 July to 27 July, 2020, on Genesis society’s Facebook and Instagram page. The scoring criteria for qualifying to next round was based on, 20% points through voting and 80% points through judges. The result of second round was declared on 28 July, 2020. 12 participants from senior and 8 participants from junior category qualified for the third round.

FINAL ROUND (29 July – 15 August, 2020)

Submission period, of entries for final round, was from 29 July to 9 August 2020. Theme for this round was, Independence Day. The scoring criteria for this round, was totally based on points given by the Judges. The final result was declared on 15 August, 2020. The winners of both categories were awarded by cash prizes. Every participant was awarded by an E certificate.

Inspired by the UN Environment Day theme 2020, Biodiversity, Department of Biotechnology, GBPIET, Ghurdauri, Pauri Garhwal conduct tree plantation drive on the college campus. ONLINE SESSION CONDUCTED BY THE ‘IEEE STUDENTS BRANCH’, G.B.PANT INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, GHURDAURI, PAURI GARHWAL
The session was held on 30th September, 2023, Saturday. The session was organised on an online mode through Google meet, the session was organised by the ‘IEEE Students Branch’, G.B. Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology ‘AN INTRODUCTOION TO IEEE’. The session was conducted with the aim to target the students currently enrolled in 2nd year to encourage their spirit and willingness to volunteer in the upcoming events. It was an interactive session, where the participants shared their views, as well as their queries were resolved in the end of the session. The information regarding IEEE, it’s mission and vision, benefits and other necessary information was shared to the attendees. The students showed maximum participation and interest by being an active participant in the session. Looking forward for more enlightening sessions….

IEEE Introductory Meet tailored for CSE, Aiml, BT and ECE students.

IEEE Student Branch organized an engaging and enlightening event to introduce IEEE organization ,its benefits, functioning and the reason for joining the same.
The event began with a comprehensive introduction to IEEE, outlining its global presence, diverse membership and the various technical fields it encompasses. PowerPoint presentation was presented to explain it better. Various social media handles and websites were made introduced to the students.
The positions were also discussed with the students that would allow them to actively contribute to the IEEE community,shaping their identity as a future Engineers and Technologists. The Sesssion was coordinated by the following members of IEEE Students Branch:

CONCLUSIONS: Overall, the event was a success. Great response was recorded and it was a healthy interactive session.
