Webinar on “DIELECTRIC RESONATOR ANTENNA”
This talk mainly focused on the fundamentals of dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) and antenna design ideas with analysis. The different analysis associated with DRAs will be discussed and possible solutions will be suggested. A very important investigation of circular polarization performance in dielectric resonator antennas will be explained. The core idea analyzed is based on the detuning of orthogonal degenerate modes in DRA. There are two approaches for circular polarization generation in DRAs, which are (I) using different coupling techniques (II) using DRA geometry, will be discussed.
