WORKSHOP ON BASICS OF WEB DESIGNING:-
A.Soundarya of IV CSE and G.Priya Varshini of IV CSE conducted a workshop on basics of web designing on 20th, July 2016. The workshop centralized on training the participants on basics of building a website with innovative designs.
THINK TO GUESS:-
The IEEE event Think to guess was conducted on 27th, July 2016 by our student branch office bearers. It was a general event exclusive for I- year and II – year students of all departments. The event commenced by 4.45 pm and ended around 6.00 pm in the evening. The ultimate goal of Think to guess event was training the students to think logically and crucially and make the students develop courage in a crowd. The event mainly focused on testing on active participation speaking skills and logical skills of the students.
TECHTRONICS:-
The IEEE event TECHTRONICS was conducted on 17th August 2016 by Ms.R.T. Prasanna of 3rd year EEE department and Mr.Veera Arjunan of 2nd year EEE department at the ECE seminar hall between 4.45p.m and 6.15p.m. The event had participants from all the departments. The main objective of the event is to attract the students from various domains. Thus the event contained general technical questions that all the students could respond.
POKIM’16:-
POKIM commenced on the morning of September 3, 2016 when our IEEE student branch joined hands with CSI student branch of our college. POKIM was a one day Inter/Intra College workshop on Animation- Blender 2.77a from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, conducted by Mr. C. Murugeshwaran from ICAT Academy, Chennai. The main objective of this workshop was to make the participants aware of the features of Blender 2.77a Software and to get comprehensive knowledge about the blooming Animation Industry.
TECHNOFOBIA:-
The ultimate goal of TECHNOFOBIA event was to enrich the students on the field of industries, corporates and geography. The event also had an impact on the volunteer ship, courage, the general knowledge, the sense of timing and humour of the students in soft skills.
EVENT ON ETHICAL HACKING:-
B.Sivaprakash of III-CSE and E.R.Vignesh Babu of III-ECE conducted the event on ethical hacking . The main objective of the event is to emphasize the importance of the Cyber threats. This event focuses to overcome those Cyber threats in the internet that we are facing in our day-to-day life.
TECHNOCRAT IN YOU:-
The main aim of the Event “TECHNOCRAT IN YOU” is to enrich memory capacity, isolate stage fear in them and enhance the ability to work as a team .The Event also include a summary about the benefits of being a member in IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).

VALEDICTORY:-
The valedictory function of IEEE students’ chapter was conducted for the final year student office bearers. It was held on 06th April 2017 and commenced around 4.45 pm and came to end around 5.30 pm.
