SIG

“Direction is more important than magnitude”

In order to provide the right direction to its members, IEEE NITD feels ecstatic to introduce Special Interest Groups (SIGs) under the student branch! We shall be having SIGs on various domains, which we’ll be revealing soon. And the best part is, it’s completely free of cost to join for members!

IEEE NIT-Delhi Student Branch has established itself as one of the pioneers of research, development and career trajectory definition in the disciplines of Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics Engineering and its associated domains within the institution.

To take this objective to new heights, IEEE NIT-Delhi Student Branch is extremely ecstatic to announce the inception of a Special Interest Group (SIG) to explore the domains of Electronics and VLSI.

The SIG shall serve a multitude of services for the students as well as the institution itself. A small elaboration of the aforementioned shall include:

1. The SIG shall enable the members to discuss and debate on ideas and thoughts via the method of peer and scientific consensus.

2. The SIG shall facilitate networking and reciprocation of thoughts, hypothesis and planning and development ideas among members across institutions, nation states and beyond.

3. The SIG shall act as a mentoring body for the students interested in establishing a career trajectory in theme herein pertained to.

4. The SIG shall also involve people, scientists, industrialists from their respective expertise domains to guide the students and to make the best use of the opportunities that the SIG shall provide them with.

5. The SIG shall also help prepare students for interviews and other recruitment process by a mechanism of study materials, peer review and mentorship programs.

IEEE NIT-Delhi Student Branch is confident that the student body shall participate in huge numbers to explore new possibilities in a world and domain yet unexplored.
