IEEE Student Branch, NIT Durgapur, conducted UdesignX, a virtual UI/UX Workshop that featured some of the most renowned personalities in the field from all over the globe.
The interactive event helped the students grasp the fundamentals of designing and its various aspects, with an one-to-one QnA session with each personality. An apt poster was designed by the design team for the event to make the participants aware of the theme of the event and to build up the event hype, by posting several other posters featuring each personality.
 
The event witnessed participation of over 100 from students of different colleges. The sessions were also followed by an exciting hands-on workshop on Figma, led by one of our own Junior Executive Members from the Graphic Designing Team. It introduced the participants to the fundamentals of the tool and also acquainted them to the multifarious usages of the same in the present day. By the end of the workshop, the participants had designed a poster in Figma by following along with the mentor who clarified every doubt they had along the way.
The event was a huge success, and it introduced the participants to one of the most highly sought after skills in the modern day and served as their first venture into the realm of UI/UX.

IEEE SB NIT Durgapur is enthralled to reveal our next guest speaker, a renowned digital product designer, Mr. Bharat Apat at UdesignX, a UI/UX Bootcamp.

Tremendously qualified, he has completed his B.Tech in Industrial and Product Design from NIT Rourkela and hailed his master’s degree from National Institute of Design. He is currently working as a full-time UX Designer at Zeta India.

Further embellishing his endeavors, he has been one of the nominees of Adobe’s top talent 2019 and the winner of Nasscom’s Design4India Design Awards!

IEEE SB NIT Durgapur proudly announces our next guest speaker, Mr. Caio B. Nishihara de Albuquerque at UdesignX, a UI/UX Bootcamp. He hails from Brazil and is a seasoned professional in the field of UX Design.

Graduated from Federal University of Paraná, Brazil in graphic designing he has an experience over 10 years in the field of UI/UX designing. Currently, he is the Head of Design in Ambev Tech. He has previously worked at Phillips as a Senior UX Designer. With an excellent background in the field of UX Designing, we believe our participants will have a lot to learn from a competent designer like him.
