About HackX
HackX marked the inaugural edition of a 36-hour Hackathon, themed around the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. Participants were required to select one of these goals, identify and understand the problems associated with it, develop a problem statement, and then devise a technological solution. This encouraged students to come up with purposeful and innovative ideas aimed at building a future we can only imagine. The event saw the participation of 18 teams, each comprising 3-4 like-minded individuals who worked tirelessly to bring their astonishing ideas to life.
Two industry experts, Mr. Vishal Dubey and Mr. Shatavart from R.U.D.R.A. Technology, Mumbai, were invited to interact with the participants and judge their ideas. Each team was also provided with a faculty mentor to guide them throughout the event. By the end of the Hackathon, participants submitted their completed tasks in the provided idea template, showcasing the fruits of their hard work and creativity.
