About HackX

Hack X was the first edition of 36-hour Hackathon. The theme of the Hackathon was taken from the seventeen sustainable development goals of UN. The participants had to select any one of the goals, understand problems that needs to be tackled under the chosen goal, develop a problem statement and provide a technological solution.
The students were encouraged to come up with ideas having a purpose to solve and an innovative technology to build the future we can only imagine. The event had 18 teams with a team size of 3-4. The students went on to form groups of likeminded individuals who worked hard on making their astonishing ideas a reality. Two industry experts Mr. Vishal Dubey and Mr. Shatavart from R.U.D.R.A. Technology, Mumbai were invited to interact with the participants and judge their ideas. Faculty mentors were allotted to each team to guide them through out the event. At the end of the event the
participants submitted the results of task completed in the idea template provided.

Vision and Mission

The purpose of the event is to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill sets to collaborate and develop innovative solutions that address global challenges and contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Encourage students to use technology and creativity to find solutions to complex problems, while also learning from each other and building networks that can lead to continued
collaboration and impact beyond the event.
Provide a platform for participants to showcase their skills, gain experience, and contribute to a better future for all.
Provide students a platform to solve sustainable development problems inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem solving.
