The IEEE Student Branch of Sri Sairam Engineering organized a pep talk “IEEE Membership Drive – 2022”. This membership drive took place on 07.05.2022 through zoom platform at 7.00PM. This event provided more details about the IEEE program through which the newly joined juniors could enhance skills in the growing environment. The event started with a welcome address given by Ms. Harshini. This was followed by our student branch counsellor Dr.S.Brindha who addressed the gathering and gave us her inspiring words. The event saw a presence of around 250 participants. Speaker introduction was given by Mr.I Sathmikan, Mr.A G Vijayendiran and Ms.T Nivethetha alternatively. The event speakers gave us their experience talk as IEEE members and important benefits of IEEE. They also shared with us about IEEE Collabratec, IEEE Xplore, IEEE scholarships and awards,Skill Sets to be developed, attending international conferences, important technical skills and more. Atlast we had an experience talk on IEEE from our 2nd year student member Mr.Sidharth Anandhakumar. This was followed by a brief questionnaire and feedback session with the speakers.Finally, a vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Shabika Fathima.
