IEEE DAY - 2020
IEEE Computer Society Student Chapter Sri Sairam Engineering College Conducted A day full of Technical and Non- Technical events In the celebration of IEEE Day on 10th of October ,2020 . It brought awareness among school students about IEEE. About 150 students from various states in India took part in this online event.
The Day 1 Events Kick started with Welcome address by Dr.Soma Prathiba. After the welcome address, the meeting was split into break out rooms and the students were directed towards their respective break out rooms.
The event had contests like Quizophile, Adzap, Talkology, Interpretacion and Fast and furious.
It also had prior contests like art attack, best out of waste and Talentopedia. The students from various schools actively participated in all the contests making it difficult to judge them.
“Don’t let your fear of failing triumph over the joy of participating”. Day 1 concluded with the successful participation of joyful students.

On 1st October 2019, IEEE day was celebrated with the theme of “Try Engineering lesson at local school ”.We celebrated IEEE day 2k19 with Sri Sairam matriculation higher secondary school students.
About 70 students participated. The contests like Quiz, Technical connections, Just a Minute, Think Technically, and Maze were conducted for them.

IEEE Computer Society-Student Branch Chapter,Sri Sai Ram Engineering College has celebrated IEEE for the first time on 4th of October,2017. We conducted technical quiz, technical connection and an online event (doodle art) . About 230 students participated. A special speech on IEEE Day 2017 was given by Ms. G Aishwarya, IEEE Day 2017 Ambassador. It was followed by a motivational speech from Dr.C.V Jayakumar, Principal, Sri Sai Ram Engineering college . Finally, Vote of thanks was delivered by Ms.CharuPreethi, member of IEEE Computer society-Student Branch Chapter,Sri Sai Ram Engineering College.
