EVENT SUMMARY:

IEEE CONTROL SYSTEM SOCIETY has organized a webinar on “vision control system based on image
analysis” on 30th November 2022 (Wednesday) between 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, through the ZOOM
meet platform. The lecture in this webinar was given by Dr. JOSHAN ATHANESIOUS J, Assistant Professor
Senior Grade 1,School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCOPE),Vellore Institute of Technology,
Chennai .
Mr. Rakesh s, Webmaster of IEEE control system society chaired the session and delivered welcome
address. Ms.S.Subha , Assistant Professor (Sr.G),IEEE control system society Advisor introduced the
resource person Dr.Joshan Athanesious and Ms.logadhasini gave the brief introduction about the
resource person Dr. Joshan Athanesious.
Dr.Joehan Athanesious has delivered a webinar on the topic “Vision control system based on image
analysis”. He explained about the basic concepts of image analysis. He specifically focused on the recent
issues like license plate scanning ,number of vehicles passed during peak hours and non-peak hours ,Air
prone image scanning.

We received good response from the audience and also they gave very good feedback. The resource
person thanked the organizers for arranging the live webinar. At the end of the webinar Ms. Candes
pirerrea ,secretary of IEEE control system society delivered the vote of thanks. He thanked the resource
person, Management, HoDs, Faculty members, participants and other officials for their active support
for making the programme to be successful.
