On 10th August 2021, the Department of CSE associated with the IEEE Information Theory Society SEC Student Branch Chapter conducted an inaugural program for its SEC Student Branch. During the meeting, valuable insights about IEEE were shared.
On 19th August 2021, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with the IEEE Information Theory Society SEC Student Branch Chapter, conducted an Induction program for welcoming second years and Igniting Trailblazers – an IEEE awareness program.
On 07th September 2021, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with IEEE Information Theory Society SEC Student Branch Chapter conducted a session on Foundation Masterclass: Project Preparation for Beginners for II, III and Final year students.
On the 22nd and 23rd of October 2021, the Department of CSE, in association with Skill Development Club, Code Club, and IEEE ITS Student Branch Chapter, conducted a 2-day Skill Development Program, “What’s next? Skillathon 1.0”
On 30th October 2021, the Department of CSE in association with IEEE Information Theory Society SEC Student Branch Chapter launched SCRIBBLETECHX – An Inter-College Technical Article Writing Competition.
On 20th December 2021, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with IEEE Information Theory Society SEC Student Branch Chapter conducted a seminar “Domain Fundamentals – A Solid Foundation”.
On 21st February 2022, the Department of CSE in association with IEEE Information Theory Society SEC Student Branch Chapter conducted IDEA-DESK 1.0, An Expert Talk on Innovation. The event focused on innovation and its future impact.
On 30th March 2022, the Department of CSE in association with IEEE Information Theory Society SEC Student Branch Chapter conducted an event “WebIt – A hands-on training session on Web Development and Github”.
On 6th April 2022, the IEEE Information Theory Society SEC Student Branch Chapter conducted a meeting with Dr. B Latha, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Chapter Advisor Mrs. D Kavitha
On 11th May 2022, the IEEE ITS SEC Student Branch Chapter conducted a meeting with its members to discuss the duties of 2nd year students. Members were assigned to different teams like design team, report team, etc.
On 23rd May 2022, IEEE ITS, SEC SB in association with Computer Society of India and Department of Computer Science and Engineering, conducted an event titled “CanFig –a two day hands on Design Training Session on Canva and Figma”.
On 12th July 2022, the IEEE Information Theory Society SEC Student Branch Chapter conducted a meeting with its members to discuss the responsibilities of the Office Bearers and members of the society.

On 18th August 2022, Department of CSE and Engineering and IEEE ITS SEC SB, Sri Sairam Engineering College conducted Paper-Con, an event aiming to shed light on the process of writing research papers.
On 22nd August 2022, the IEEE Information Theory Society Sri Sairam Engineering College Student Branch Chapter conducted a membership drive called “Membership Drive”. The students were given a brief introduction about IEEE ITS
The Information Theory Society in association with the National Service Scheme organized JEE’23 Drive on 17-02-2023 exclusively for Class 12 Students of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Somangalam, where the event was held.
The Code Club in association with IEEE Information Theory Society organized VARIABLES on 03-03-2023 exclusively for 2nd year students. from different departments. The students’ coding skills are the main emphasis of this event.

“The Reactor” was a one-day event held on 10th May at the alpha Hall of Sri Sairam Engineering College campus. The event was attended by 70+ participants, including students, faculty members, and industry professionals.
