On behalf of IEEE-System Man and Cybernetics society in association with M.Tech CSE has conducted an orientation program on roadmap for enabling industry readiness in VRR Hall at 2.00PM-3.30PM. The chief guest was Mr.Rajkumar Sivasubramanian, Associative Director, Capability and Transformation Team, Virtusa, Chennai and Ms.Arati Kumari, Executive HR, Virtusa, Chennai. Dr.M.Nithya gave the welcome address for this event. Mr.Rajkumar Subramanian gives his speech about what industry wants and gave his wonderful explanation about that the industry wants the candidates to know the culture of the industry and they must have the ability to collobrate with the team members, soft skills and the candidates have to communicate well like in speaking, writing and documenting. Moreover, he also said that if the candidates want to join Virtusa they have to be well vested in Full stack and should be good in any one of the programming languages,most importantly Java. After that he also said that the students must have to start an account on Github and they have to post their works on Github and he also suggested that the students practice and improve their coding skills  in Hackathon,HackerEarth. After that Ms.Arati Kumari conducted a fun event in menti.com and the event was successfully completed.
