The IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS) successfully organized “IMAGICA” an exhilarating and interactive ideation challenge that took place on October 11, 2022. The event aimed to promote creative thinking, innovation, and teamwork among students. With the topic provided on the spot, participants, were organized into 2-3 members per team and had three hours to ideate and develop unique solutions to the presented challenge.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
On the 29th of September 2022, the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems and IEEE TEM Society Student Branch Chapter organized a webinar on Career guidance & Portfolio development. The speaker was Dr.K.Maran, Professor & Director, Management Studies. A lot of helpful key inputs were given by the speaker regarding the various platforms and ways that are available for polytechnic students to excel and encouraged them not to feel down or demotivated because of fewer opportunities that are prominent, instead motivating them to create their own opportunities. There was also another session about portfolio development in wix and also about canva. Many students benefited from the session.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
A hands-on session on Angular JS session was held from 21/09/2022 – 23/09/2022 by the TEM Society SBC of Sri Sairam Engineering College as a means to spread the knowledge and increase the employability of bussing engineers as Angular JS is the trend in today’s market. Mr.Sooriya V was the resource person of the event, provided a lot of insightful information and threw light on the topic with its prerequisites. The students even started doing the practical implementation with Visual studio code and Node JS. As it was a three days workshop, it was a lot more useful for the participants.
The session finally was winded up after a question and answer session, where all the doubts of the students were cleared.

On 5th August 2022 the department of Computer science and Business Systems and IEEE TEM Society Student Branch Chapter organized a seminar on Placement and Higher Studies

In this seminar our Honorable Guest explained about the opportunity that we have in placements and how to select the company in placements, how to perform well in placement exams, how to answer to the interview to questions, how to prepare our self for the placements and explained about the importance of online learning platforms to improve our skills for placements, He said about the what is the current demand in the today’s technological world and how to survive in it with our skillset
After that he explain the what are the possibilities and how to select the country for Higher Studies and which country has more engineers demand in the technological world, he clarified all the doubts raised by the participants and added his personal knowledge regarding the Higher studies and purpose of going for higher studies

EVENT SUMMARY:
The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems in association with the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society Student Branch Chapter of Sri Sairam Engineering College has conducted python Training for the 12th standard students, in which the session was handled by our Society Members. The Webinar kick-started at 2:00 PM where Dr. M. Ananthi, Head of the Department of CSBS & Advisor of the SSEC IEEE TEMS SB Chapter, greeted the gathering through her welcome note.
Our members have trained the school students and gave a detail explanation about the basic of Python and gave a demo session on it and trained them to do on the systems Meanwhile, our members have sorted out all the queries raised by the school students thus illuminating them.
On the whole, the session was fruitful to the young creative fellowship.

After the Lunch Break again the event started at 1.30 pm , Battle Brawlers , Clips& Cuts , Memezoid events takes place simultaneously, At 3.00 pm we have initiated the Valedictory function with Mr. Magesh Venkatarami ( Technology director, Deloitte Consulting) , he addressed his gathering on that event . The Winners of the event was announced and awarded with Cash Prizes and other exciting prizes
