On September 29, 2022, Sri Sai Ram Engineering College hosted a Career Guidance and Skills Development session to inform students about job opportunities and higher studies after Polytechnic graduation. Maaran Maaran led discussions on various career paths, complemented by workshops on portfolio development using Wix and resume building on Canva conducted by IEEE TEMS members. The session emphasized practical skills to enhance employability and clarified students’ doubts about their future choices, with Maaran having positively impacted over 500,000 students through collaborations with organizations like AICTE and MSME.

"IGNITE"
Department of Computing and Business Systems in association with IEEE TEMS conducted the IGNITE program at G B Public School, Melmaruvathur to inspire innovation among students. There were 3 events. Hack and innovate, a junior smart india hackathon awareness session, was held to inform the youngsters about the occasion and its advantages. To inspire pupils to think creatively and innovate, the initiative Ideate Minds was launched. A fun marketing and advertising event called Adzap was also held.Students were astonished to share their opinions.

Orientation for CSBS Students
The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) hosted an online orientation in collaboration with SSEC IEEE TEMS to guide aspiring students through available courses and inspire them as future leaders in technology and business. Guest speaker Mr. Mageshwaran B J, Program Manager at Tata Consultancy Services, shared valuable insights on the evolving landscape of the field, highlighting the importance of innovation and adaptability. Coordinated by Mr. A. Naresh Kumar, the event featured interactive discussions and Q&A sessions, fostering engagement among participants. The event was a success, leaving attendees excited and motivated for their academic journey ahead.

"IMAGICA"
The “IMAGICA” ideation challenge, organized by IEEE TEMS on October 11, 2022, successfully encouraged student innovation and teamwork. Participants, in teams of two to three, tackled a surprise topic within three hours. The event began with a warm welcome and a live topic announcement, inspiring creativity. Evaluation criteria included originality, feasibility, and impact. Participants showcased their ideas with confidence, impressing judges and peers. Overall, IMAGICA ignited a passion for innovation among attendees and highlighted the importance of teamwork in problem-solving.

A Theme based quiz has been conducted to the students of Sri Sairam Engineering College and Sri Sairam Institute of Technology for National Engineers days, Which has been conducted by SSEC IEEE TEMS SBC and association with Department of Computer Science and Business Systems on 15.09.2022 and 16.09.2022 , the questions are framed based on the Engineering and Technology and Current Scenario of Digital Technology World , More than 160+ students actively participated and those gained maximum score , Appreciation Certificates are provided and others are appreciated to participate in more events in future with Participation Certificates .

AWARENESS TALK ON PLACEMENT & HIGHER STUDIES
On August 5, 2022, the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems and IEEE TEMS Society Student Branch Chapter organized a seminar on Placement and Higher Studies. Guest speaker Mr. J U Ajay Krishnan, a postgraduate student at RMIT University, Australia, discussed placement opportunities, selection of companies, and interview preparation, emphasizing the importance of online learning platforms and current tech industry demands. The session concluded with Dr. M. Ananthi, Head of the Department of CSBS, presenting a gift and memento to the guest speaker.

PY-HUNT (Python Hands on Training )
On 11th July 2022, the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, in association with the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society Student Branch Chapter of Sri Sairam Engineering College, conducted a Python training session for 12th standard students from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The webinar started with a welcome note from Dr. M. Ananthi, followed by society members introducing Python and conducting a hands-on demo session. Throughout the event, members addressed student queries, enhancing their understanding of the language and fostering interest in programming and technology.

"TECHBIZZARD"
The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems, in association with the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society Student Branch Chapter of Sri Sairam Engineering College, conducted “TECHBIZZARD” for first-year CSBS students online via Google Meet on July 10 and 11, 2022, with 60 attendees. The event began with a welcome note from Dr. M. Ananthi and featured ten competitions, including drawing, photography, dance, essay writing, and singing on the first day, followed by web development, poster making, coding, business proposals, and sports on the second day. Winners were announced and awarded e-certificates, making the session a fruitful experience for all involved.

SAI TECHNOPHILIA
On March 30, 2022, the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems and IEEE TEMS Society Student Branch Chapter organized a Technical Symposium, FEST X (Power of Excellence), from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The event featured six competitions: Scrolls, Bizonovation, Memezoid, Clips & Cuts, Fixbugz, and Battle Brawlers. After the inauguration, the first three events began at 10:00 AM, followed by the others at 1:30 PM. The symposium concluded with a valedictory function featuring Mr. Magesh Venkatarami from Deloitte Consulting, where winners received cash prizes and rewards, bringing the event to a cheerful close.

The speaker was Mr.Ravi Ranjan – Founder and CEO,Dhobi G. A lot of helpful key inputs were given by the speaker regarding how to work around a existing problem and find an innovative solution and related groundwork necessary for doing so.A lot of students benefited from the session and the student’s doubts were cleared off as well in a Q&A session.
