INAUGURAL OF IEEE VTS SEC

The inauguration of  IEEE Vehicular Technology Society Student Branch  SEC happened on 29th of October , 2021 in the presence of honourable professors & chief guest  Dr. James Irvine , Executive Vice President – IEE VTS Reader at Strathclyde University, Scotland, United Kingdom. 

Following the inaugural , the chief guest himself took lecture about IEEE VTS  Applications and 5G, which made the session very informative & knowledge gathering.

Event date: MAY 27,2022.

This event has been organized by the IEEE Student Branch of Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai. As guest lecturer Dr. A. Amsaveni (Prof-ECE) of Kumaraguru College of Technology(Coimbatore) was invited and welcomed by DR. S. BRINDHA(SAIRAM IEEE CAPTAIN) and addressed by Dr. V.M. Manickavasagam(Asst. Prof-Mechanical) of Sri Sairam Engineering College. Main moto of this webinar is to guide the future aspirant Mechanical Engineers in the field of Vehicle Communication Systems in Automotive Industry. Around 100 students from final year of Mechanical Department was gathered at the ALPHA HALL where the event was organized virtually. Time duration of this event was around 100 mins. Also at the end of the virtual webinar students clarified their doubts with the lecturer and were overwhelmed with satisfaction with respect to the webinar program.

R&D Manager at Rakuten Symphony India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore on Zoom platform, with the guidance of Dr S BRINDA Sairam IEEE Captain. We can’t express how delighted we were to have him as our chief guest throughout the event, we gained valuable insights into the future of vehicular technology and its impact on society.
