On the occasion of IEEE Day on 5th October 2021, the IEEE SICSR Pune Student Branch members had a wonderful interactive session along with LinkedIn Profile Building and Awareness session on IEEEXtreme 15.0 .

Recently after the IEEE Student Branch had conducted IEEE Awareness Program, there were many new members enrolled, therefore insights of the branch activities and working of the branch were given including the explaination of hierarchy of IEEE Student Branch, office bearer positions, IEEE Day and it’s significance.

Meghna Das, Chair of IEEE SICSR Pune Student Branch, conducted an insighful session on building personal LinkedIn Account. She explained many features of the site and gave examples of the same. In addition, she reviewed some of the LinkedIn profiles of the new student members and provided insights on how they can improve it for better reach. Followed by this Q&A session was held.

Subsequently, Simeen Khan Ayyub, Co-Chair and Secretary of IEEE SICSR Pune Student Branch, enlightened about IEEEXtreme 15.0, the global programming competition. She presented a PPT with the analytics and information of the same. Also gave a demo of the registration process, the practice site and guided about the choosing of proctor. She encouraged all the members to make teams and participate in this global event.

Both the speakers, highlighted about IEEE and its significance. Also they shared there experience and the benefits and volunteering opportunities in IEEE.
