IEEE Student Branch members of SICSR got a chance to work in association with IBM’s ongoing ConnectToBuild Project making use of the COVID 19 Lockdown time. Three members of our student Branch Ms.Diya, Ms. Shritama, and Ms. Aditi are working constantly under the mentorship of Dr. Rajashree Jain and Mrs. Lekha Phijo, a Mentor from IBM.
The project is based on IBM platforms including Sensors, IOT, Watson and Cloud for the purpose of real-time water quality management. Sensors are used to send water quality data to the Cloud platform for storage, from where it can be retrieved for analysis and graphical representation. Projects such as these help students to hone their skills, while also bringing forth solutions to everyday problems, benefiting both society and the environment.
