INTRODUCTION TO CALCULATOR

Identifying the importance of use of a Scientific calculator in engineering and after coming across the fact that as many as 80% of students in 1^st year could not use a calculator effectively so IEEE SSGMCE SB decided to conduct the workshop on the use of scientific calculator for the first year. A very nominal entry fee of Rs.40 was charged to each student.

The workshop was held for 3 to 4 hrs. Nearly 200 students attended the workshop. All basic, as well as advanced concepts of calculator like matrix calculations, vectors, different forms of equations, conversions and many more, were covered here. Finally, the students were provided e-certificates and refreshments. And everyone was satisfied.

The event was technically conducted by Shriram Lohar, SakshiHiwrale, Vijay Saiwal, Rutuja Kaikade, Harshada Saraf. The anchoring was done by Devashri Gote and Prajwal Vijaykar. And the vote of thanks was given by RadhikaDeshmukh. Thankfully each and every member of IEEE SB had a direct or indirect contribution in carrying out this successful event. The overall program was carried out under the guidance of faculty advisor Prof. P. R. Wankhede.
