Identifying the importance of use of Scientific Calculator in Engineering and after coming across the fact that as many as 80% students in 1^styear could not use calculators effectively SSGMCE SB decided to conduct the workshop on use of Scientific Calculator for first year. This event was also a fund raiser for our Student Branch. A very nominal entry fee of Rs. 20 was charged to each participant. 242 students of first year participated in this particular workshop. Participants were provided with refreshments.

This workshop lasted for 2 hours and 30 minutes the content of the workshop proved to be very useful for the students for their Engineering. Starting from the basics to the higher applications all the topics were covered in this workshop. A unique feature of live feed was introduced which paved way for such big success of this event. We are very much thankful to the college management, Hon’ Principal sir, Faculty Advisor Prof. P. R. Wankhede sir and the participants for the success of this workshop.
