It was cloth donation drive by our SB members where we did cloth collection in pur college by both faculties as well as students to donate these clothes to near by slum areas.

DISCUSSION WITH FACULTIES

All the important views and what actions can be taken were discussed, further, there was interaction with the faculties of every department with Dr. Satish Kumar.

Policies and new methods were discussed how we can implement innovation and research feel in students was also an important point of discussion.

STUDENT MEMBER MEET

All the Student branch members along with our IEEE faculties and students had an interactive session with Dr. Satish Kumar . All the things regarding responsibilities of students, functioning of branch and other important points were discussed.

It was very interactive as each and every member was asked to present his or her views regarding IEEE , what are there expectations and what all they have achieved till now being associated with IEEE.

Dr. Satish Kumar told about benefits of being an IEEE member and all the other academic as well as non-academic opportunities one may achieve .

MEETING WITH IEEE SB TULA'S INSTITUTE

In this meeting, we discussed about our student branch functioning and our team interacted with Dr. Satish Kumar Singh

We discussed our event patterns, grants, projects, and many more. There was an analysis of events held to date and the fund we were able to get on basis of our events, moving ahead we talked about the grant which is granted to one of our projects which is in relation with Govt. of India.

He suggested what betterment can be done and how we can take benefit of IEEE. What is our internal committee policy and what are our future plans regarding our SB discussed? He also suggested what more can be done and where we are doing fine all the review and analysis was done in this meeting.

MEETING WITH OFFICE BEARERS IEEE UP ROORKEE SUBSECTION

It was a meeting with all the office bearers of the IEEE Roorkee sub-section and IEEE UP Section chair Dr. Satish Kumar Singh.

 

Here was discussed what is happening in the up Roorkee subsection what all activities are going and what is the current status of all student branches, and what kind of events are being organized a detailed view was given and discussed with Dr. Satish Kumar.

After This, there were Suggestions for the betterment of societies and what all events can be done what can be done to improve the status of student branches, and how to take grants to get maximum benefit being an IEEE.

WOMEN HYGIENE

Agenda :- Our agenda was to make people aware about the personal care and hygiene for women care

We travelled to different locations came to know about the situation of womens had a nice interaction with the people and educated about women hygiene

 

Our WIE Affinity group organised the event with the help of Ritika, the WIE chairperson. The team travelled to rural areas to educate women about personal hygiene and related topics. Our side also provided sanitary pad distribution. WE travelled to numerous locations and distributed sanitary pads, as well as educating ladies on the need of hygiene and personal care.

Workshop on basics of Python Programming language

 

This was a workshop on the Python programming language that covered all of the fundamentals while also educating students on how to use Python and its future potential. It began with the history of Python and the need for it, followed by all of the fundamentals such as functions, operators, and so on. We also went over several key ideas, like as how to import libraries and use their built-in functions.

From each team top performer 2 students were selected for level 2. In level 2 top 3 performing students were winner, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up.

Utkrisht-X is a national-level tech fest organized by IEEE SB Tulas Institute for the student of different colleges across India to compete with other students and showcase their talent

 

IEEE SB Tulas Institute organizes Utkrisht, a national-level technology event. Every year, a technological, management, and agriculture tech fest is held, and this year is the 10th edition, named Utkrisht-X. Essentially, it is an inter-college tournament in which students from various colleges compete in various events. They demonstrate their talent in a variety of events based on their interests. There are 30+ events from various courses at this national-level tech carnival. Many participants were honored for their participation in this event.

COGNIZANCE

Cognizance is a PowerPoint presentation event in which participants have to present a ppt in front of the faculties and students on their topic. Winners are declared on different parameters like their body language, their ppt content, their attitude, their knowledge and their confidence level.

 

The PowerPoint Presentation program COGNIZANCE was organized by IEEE SB Tula’s in Tula’s Institute Dehradun. Mr. Tripuresh Joshi, an IEEE Senior Member, and other department faculty members guided the event. Mr. Nikhil Mathur (IEEE SB Chair Tula’s) was in charge of the entire event. Vishwesh Chaturvedi was in charge of organizing this event. This event was all about showing how you present yourself, your ideas, and your personality with the help of Technology. This event allows us to demonstrate our presentation skills, communication skills, and, most importantly, our body language, among other things. This event provided a wealth of information to the students. There were five judges who assessed the students’ abilities and assigned them grades based on their presentations. Students were also encouraged by the judges. The event had a total of 25 participants, with 15 IEEE Student Members and 10 non-IEEE members. Each participant did their best to represent their abilities. They discussed both technical and non-technical subjects. We learned how to represent ourselves and how to communicate our opinions after this event. We also gained an excessive amount of knowledge on many issues and broadened our horizons. Aside from our coursework, we also learned a variety of professional skills. It was a co-curricular activity that we both enjoyed and learned a lot from.

IPR AND PATENT TECHNIQUES Share

Agenda :- It was to make students and all the other staff aware of IPR and Patent what all mistakes to avoid, what are the terminologies are in use and what is a proper process for it

We learn how to obtain a patent for our inventions and ideas. What is the significance of filing a patent and what is the procedure for doing so? In this class, we learned about all of the common mistakes made when filling out a patent application, as well as the procedure and terminology used in patent writing.

Tula’s IEEE Student Branch hosted a Canva Workshop for poster and logo design on 13-Feb-2022 from 3:00 pm to 4:15 pm. It was a Google Meet virtual workshop. The workshop was represented by several other students, as well as the IEEE Team and our Webmaster Harsh Kashiwal. He taught us a lot about using Canva to make posters. We learned how to select pieces of a poster for the desired topic, how to utilize suitable color combinations for a great poster, and much more in this class. We also discovered how to make money as a Canva designer. We learned how to work as freelancers and get money from our efforts. We also learned about ways to express and improve our creativity

THREE DAYS WORKSHOP ON INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT)

Nowadays, we are heading toward modern technology, which makes life more easier for humans. In this race, the Internet of Things (IoT) is playing a key role in advancing and simplifying human society. As the name implies, (Internet of Things) refers to the process of linking physical objects to the internet so that we can control them from anywhere, at any time. As a result, three days of workshops on IoT and embedded systems were held. We learned about IoT at this workshop. What is the Internet of Things (IoT)? Why is it so crucial? The simulation and coding aspects of IoT have also been explored. We learned how to use Arduino to make different models.

INTRODUCTION TO C LANGUAGE

Is the “C-language” necessary to our success? Is it required to understand the basics of the C programming language? As a result, the answer is yes. The C programming language is, as we all know, the most basic and essential. So, at the “Tula’s Institute” in the physical form, we’ve prepared a 3-day program on the C-language. On the first day, we covered the fundamentals of the C programming language, followed by some basic C programming on the second day, and finally some common and crucial programming on the third day. This session is for students interested in learning about the C programming language. As a result, the event was a huge success. The feedback was quite positive.

IEEE SB held a technical event on several coding languages, in which students excitedly participated and demonstrated their computer language skills. It began with a 40-minute quiz and continued with a 50-minute seminar on machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The Future of IoE, The Future in IoE, Drawbacks, and Shortcomings

The webinar was hosted by IEEE SB Tula’s Institute on Green Computing and the Internet of Things, which has recently become one of the IT industry’s buzzwords. Prof. Abhay Saxena was formally greeted by Nikhil Mathur, Chair of the Student Branch. Our guest speaker then began his address by outlining his presentation and introducing the fundamental ideas of Green Computing and the Internet of Things. He gave our participants a brief overview of the foundations of Green computing, as well as the process and applications in the industry. Green computing is the use of computers and their resources in an environmentally responsible and eco-friendly manner. He described how a number of IT providers are promising to provide research on the design, engineering, manufacturing, use, and disposing of computing equipment in a timely manner. 

 Environmentally-friendlyfriendly production techniques, energy-efficient computers, and enhanced disposal and recycling procedures are all examples of green IT practices.

The webinar starts with basic technology ideas and gradually increases in difficulty. As a result, pupils felt at ease from second to the fourth year. Everyone had a chance to learn something. Students can use the entire program as a prelude to learning more about green computing and IoT. Virtualization, VMware, Security, Private Clouds, and Amazon Web Services are all briefly discussed by the speaker. Our speaker gave a presentation on a little project related to IoT, which was quite useful in helping us understand the industry and how we use it in our daily lives.The topics covered throughout the session will aid students in future little and large undertakings. Apart from having extensive understanding of various software and Green Commuting, there is a good chance that the students will be able to apply what they have learned in this workshop to create new applications. Following the workshop’s hands-on theory and practical experience, the participants will compete in a Zonal Round Competition. Furthermore, because the entire programme was a hands-on experience for students, the experience gained will undoubtedly aid their employability. The Webinar piqued the students’ interest, and they were all attentive and engaging during the presentation. During the Webinar, students were given the opportunity to ask questions.Students were intrigued and eager to learn more about the issues that were presented, which aided them much in improving their skills

 

ENTHUSIA 2.0

It was an Introduction to Tula’s Student branch of IEEE. This was an Two hour event in which there were interactive sessions and a presentation over IEEE giving a brief introduction about IEEE and Students chapters which are active in Tula’s

 

The event was started with a fun activity. Students were given riddles they have to solve it and bring the material that was the answer to it there were 15 riddles and each riddle was an answer to an object student were given 25 minutes to collect and submit there answers

This activity was then followed by a presentation over IEEE which gave students an idea what IEEE is what is the functioning of IEEE what are the benefits of being an IEEE member then there was introduction about the student chapters and we had interaction with the freshers.

During the presentation we had interaction with the freshers. We had a questionaries session about IEEE regarding what we have shown in our Presentation. Students were motivated and eager to Join IEEE
