WHY ROS IS IMPORTANT 2023

The session was held over two hours, as given by Eng. Mohammad Shannak provided an industrial arm robot to show the students how it works and how we can program it. The core of this session is to introduce the students to robot operating systems, and it includes practical examples of programming and the industrial arm robot.

EMOTIONAL ARTIFICIAL INTELLEGENCE 2021

It was the first session hosted by the IEEE HU RAS team in the 2021-2022 academic year, taking into consideration the health requirements and social distancing regarding Covid-19, and it introduced the students to the term “emotional AI,regarding the technology used behind this topic and how it used and will be developed in many fields such as mental health, users feelings and attitudes are monitored through their heart rate, blood pressure, and other scales while being directly connected with doctors and experts.

A guest speaker delivered an informative session on the practical application of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) in industrial settings. The presentation included insightful examples, such as a demonstration featuring the automation of a coffee machine.
