The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a non-profit organisation, and is the world’s leading professional association for the advancement of technology.

There are more than 365,000 IEEE members in over 150 countries around the world. IEEE members are engineers, scientists and allied professionals whose technical interests are rooted in electrical and computer sciences, medical, engineering and related disciplines.

IEEE TuK

We represent TUK Student Branch of IEEE, and we cover everything from technical talks, to social events, to final year project awards! If you are looking to develop organizational, leadership, and teamwork skills alongside the technical ones – we can certainly cover for that!

We also support Women in Engineering affinity group, and female members are most welcome not only to participate in all of our events, but to take leadership of the affinity group and celebrate the diversity in the engineering profession!

Create more student membership benefits at all IEEE levels.

Develop student activities (including contests, awards and promotion programs).

Participation in regional conferences, workshops and competitions

Foster Student Members’ awareness of IEEE activities and existing benefits.

Support students’ initiatives and inform other IEEE organizational units about them.

Represent student interests and voice student concerns

Help with the formation of new Students’ Working Groups focusing on innovation.
