IEEE WIE is Established as the pioneering Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group in Sri Lanka, our primary objective revolves around championing the cause of women engineers and fostering their advancement in technical fields, particularly within the realm of engineering. Our mission is multifaceted, aimed at not only promoting the presence and contributions of women in engineering but also igniting and sustaining the interest, awareness, and active participation of young females in technical disciplines. We strive to create an inclusive environment that empowers women engineers to excel, innovate, and lead across various sectors. Through strategic initiatives, mentorship programs, networking opportunities, and educational outreach efforts, we endeavor to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and inspire the next generation of female engineers.
