FestX 3.0
IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE),is the largest women’s organization for promoting female engineers and scientists.
On that note, FestX 2022 was hosted by the IEEE WIE Affinity Group of University of Moratuwa via Zoom on December 29, 2022. It was an orientation session designed to create awareness and give a fundamental overview of WIE among the undergraduate community. There were around 100+ registrations for the session.
Apart from the awareness session, the attendees also enthusiastically participated in the SCAVENGER HUNT game, which was another unique aspect of this program. At the conclusion of the competition, Miss Lakshika D.A.R. and Miss Dheerasekara R.J. were chosen as the champions, while Miss Indunil and Miss Yashodha was placed as the 1st runners-up, Miss Thulani and Miss Teepika secured the 2nd runners up, respectively.
