An introductory lecture entitled “Raising Awareness of Cybersecurity” was held.

Cybersecurity is considered a crucial field in our modern era, and achieving it requires providing protection for electronic systems and sensitive information. Therefore, we all have a role to play in enhancing awareness and continuous improvement in this field.

During the introductory lecture, excerpts from real-life examples of cyber-attacks were presented, highlighting the role of institutions and individuals in promoting cyber awareness within the community.

On this occasion, we introduced the student branch of the IEEE organization at the University of Tripoli and its role in increasing technical awareness, mentioning its important activities.

We would like to thank our colleague, “Timah Tomia,” for representing the student branch on this day and providing valuable information to emphasize the importance of cybersecurity at the personal, institutional, and national levels.
