To commemorate our first programmed for the year 2021, IEEE Power and Society club organized a crossword competition called IEEE Crossword 2nd Edition. It is an annual competition organized by UNITEN’s IEEE Student Branch 2021 targeted toward UNITEN students regardless of their course’s background. Specifically for this year round, the crossword comprising 20 questions that tackled five different themes; general knowledge, engineering, mathematical engineering, IEEE and UNITEN, was held from 12th February, 8a.m until 14th February, 4p.m. The event was heavily promoted and count downed from day three to day one throughout the week via social medias. With the aim of promoting IEEE club and increasing awareness on the UNITEN affairs, the programmed has successfully garnered more participation from UNITENians than firstly predicted despite Chinese New Year’s weekend with a total number of 77 participants who submitted their answers. The feedback received was also helpful in improving the shortcomings. As for the winners, they were announced on 19th February and cash prizes were awarded to them respectively.
