IEEE PES UNITEN SB “Egg Drop Challenge” with SMK Cheras Jaya Form 3 students

The program is held on SMK Cheras Jaya (outside) from 10:00 am to 1:00pm. This session (second half) of the overall program consist of all Form 3 students in their participation for Science Week School Program. The “Egg Drop Challenge” aims to deliver full protection design in which sustain the egg from being crack. The egg will be then dropped from the third floor of the schoolground, with additional parachute to slow down the falling. The school has provided materials such as an egg (for each team), parachute (trash bag, strings, and paper to design their own protection cover. The student team with less crack, or manage to over survive the fall will win first prize champion. This program is dedicated to let students learn more about physics theory – in which the law of conservation of energy is used in everyday life.
