ABOUT US
IEEE, pronounced “Eye-triple-E,” stands for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. UTeM IEEE SB welcomes all the UTeM students from diploma, undergraduate to postgraduate degree levels to join us as a family. In year 2016, UTeM has successfully formed its own student branch with the efforts from our first president Chan Chun Yuan, and led by our counselor, Assoc Prof. Dr. Chong Shin Horng. In the mean time, UTeM IEEE SB is also a registered-society under Students Affair Division, Univeriti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). Since the day of establishment, UTeM IEEE SB has successfully organised variety of activities that focusing on engineering knowledge and skill development as well as networking affair. Up to now, we have 100 members in our big family. We will strive harder to serve the best to our members and community as well.

To provide opportunities for UTeM students to handle the program that involves students abroad and students in the country, meanwhile promoting and bearing the name of UTeM.

IEEE will be essential to the global technical community and to technical professionals everywhere; as well as being universally recognized for the contributions of technology and of technical professionals in improving global conditions.
