As we promised, we deliveredπŸ™ƒ. The IEEE Photonics Week Uganda 2022 was jam-packed with a number of activities that were aimed to bridge the gap between the students and the relevant industries.

We held a number of engagements with various organizations such as Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC), Soliton Telmec, @innovexug, Nakawa vocational Training college: NVTC Energy Training Centre, and Rotaract Club of Nansana πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ .

It was a great opportunity for IEEE students to learn various technologies applied in different fields as well as create a strong relationship with the companies for future internship and employment opportunities.

IEEE student members from Makerere University, KYAMBOGO UNIVERSITY, ISBAT University, @uict-nakawa, and Mbarara University of Science & Technology actively participated in this program.
